1. We just have to give the band a lot of credits here for not playing save

  2. Exactly
Damn, Ultraviolet looks awesome, and for some reason Bono fucking up makes it even more enjoyable
Love the epic smoke and all...

They got cut-off the last time they played SNL. I wonder if they played any other songs after UV.

A lot of times when an act performs more than once on a show the same thing happens (credits rolling over them). It happens on Regis & Kelly a lot.

Another Bad A$$ U2 performance on SNL! Glad I got to see the broadcast!!

Get in line for the mic and jacket!!
  5. I thought all three performances were good. I seriously can't get enough of Breathe after seeing them in Toronto! The version of Moment Of Surrender was amazing as well; I LOVED Bono's raps. And Ultraviolet/the mic & jacket? WOW!

  6. Absolutely, even if they did screw it all up they deserve all the credits. Way to go U2.
  7. What exactly did they screw up?

Ok, Bono doesn't sound too good, but him having voice problems can hardly be considered as "screwing up", it's not like he does that on purpose.

The rest of the performance was fine, they seemed very into it, Breathe was energetic, MOS was very emotional with some improvised lyrics, and the band seemed very much into it. There was no sign of "screwing up" and people who where there said it was a great night.
  8. Well if you are very critical, The Edge made some errors during MOS. And Bono or The Edge (havent checked the album version) start singing a different verse once.

But thats me being more than critic

  9. If you were replying to me, I said "even if they would screw up", I haven't been able to watch the performance yet so no judgement from me until in 10 hours or so.
  10. Bono started singing 'I was speeding on the subway' while Edge sang 'I was punching in the numbers' and Edge was right
