  2. It might be harsh but U2 are pulling money from poor releases for 10 years now. (I don't mean the regular albums but too many best ofs, no b-sides to singles anymore, too many cripled dvd releases just because they refuse to pay a few bucks for copyrights, et cetera.)

    Even if it's not bad, some days I just want them to release something that's outstanding, and worthy their standing. Something snappy, a beau geste, you know. Of course it's nice to have a box collection but I feel a pretentious re-release like this (with photographs, booklets, box) should be more than some gathered left-overs and bits and pieces of a concert, every snippet edited out to save a few dollars. That's pathetic.

    I, as a fan, feel pretty squeezed out by now. I'd buy anything but it should add something real. And no-one can deny U2 are, to put it friendly, a little miserly towards their fans. There was a massive amount of remasters of many bands in the past few years and all were better and more interesting than the U2 remasters.

    They owe it to their fans, but especially to their own reputation of biggest band in the world, to do a better job.

  9. If the Live Aid concert would be complete with snippets and with the end of Bad it would be cool.
    I hate that they cut Bad from the original broadcast. Although it had run for 12 minutes before they did lol
  12. Noiseless, on a serious note: would you get good results if you tried to remaster TUF by yourself? I mean..we got the Boy/October/War-remasters and only Boy sounded like an improvement (I still think they just added some minor bass and a bit of EQ-ing)..but anyway, I fear the same might happen with TUF.

    It's not a request by the way, just a question..
