Yeah, NLOTH is not only my fave song off the album but pretty damn strong live as well - I have no clue why they would drop it...

  3. Ya imo 2 of the top 3 live songs from the new album (NLOTH and UC) dropped tonight. Very disappointing
  4. Very disappointing show tonight. No UC, no NLOTH, they played Stuck, and no Pride (given that they were in DC, it'd have been more than appropriate). Oh well.

    extremely weird set
but still happy no pride (retire it and keep it retired for now despite dc tie-ins)
very worried for nloth (i agree with general consensus its the best of the record, and best song in awhile period)

im actually thrilled with what seems a nightly shakeup. most bands that i love do this, you're never sure what ur gonna get. only qualm is the lack of true change.

I'd say so. I get dropping Pride, but don't drop new songs, especially if you aren't going to replace them with other new songs.

I can only guess that dropping the NLOTH tracks here and prev is due to lukewarm album sales in America and they think the audience don't want to hear them. UC got dropped once (?) only in Europe. Lack of any replacement song last night is odd, although several Europe gigs had only 22 songs and nowhere near so much setlist shake up.
I do hope both are in the filmed show though...

It would be a travesty if they weren't. They should stand behind the new material for better or worse. Hate they play it so safe these days
  10. I'm really glad I went to the European shows. The setlist of the US shows doesn't look very good and they start dropping new songs now and don't replace them with something else. I'm surprised they didn't play Pride in Washington. And dropping No Line, which, IMO, is the best live song from their current album, is a big mistake. I hope they bring NLOTH and UC back.
  11. Probably trying to give Bono's voice a rest.
I don't think the set looks as bad as people make it. Switch in No Line and you'll have a standard. Just one song short.
  12. No, no line
