Bono impressed me more than I thought he would, he was totally hamming it up for the crowd. Everyone in the band seemed to be enjoying themselves. Edge was so into it, and Larry let a few smiles slip. Probably the coolest part was when he let someone in the audience sing People Get Ready during Sunday Bloody Sunday. I took a lot of videos and pics which I'll probably post on youtube and U2tours, respectively. I was with a couple friends who didn't know what to expect, they are U2 veterans and their heads pretty much exploded. It was also the first show for my mom, which was kinda cool. All in all, a great experience and I can't wait for Atlanta
Amazing Thanks for the detail, it's cool nideed
  2. Stand By Me was just perfect for the occasion. I hadn't realized the moon directly overhead until Bono pointed it out. The crowd was loud during the heavier songs and you could hear a pen drop during the soft moments. Amazing show. U2 never disappoints.

A good friend of mine came and it was his first U2 concert ever. He was blown away.

  3. the whole show is already on youtube, whoever filmed it was literally like 2 people behind me. My videos look great too, I can't wait to post them. Post-show excitement/shock is so much fun!

Short but to-the-point review. Glad to see you had a good time. Also good to hear about your friend, I hope he goes with you to some 2010 shows too
  5. Been searching for Info on the Tampa and Dallas stadium situation and found this article on twitter from U2TourFan concerning the parking at the stadium. Turns out some people didn't get a chance to see the show. Very sad!
We're defintly going to get to stadium early!!!

  6. is there no public transport at all in America?
  7. Great show. I thought they were much tighter then The two Chicago shows. New years day was a highlight
for me. It sounded better then I could recall over the last couple of tours. I was suprised Bono made no mention of Popmart show not happening. Very small venue, the claw almost didn't fit. That made it the more
special I think, for it felt like a smaller show. Crowd was ok , not real loud but they did enjoy it. U2 made up for it in their energy. Edge played the Explorer for In a Little While which sounded great. I did miss UC, but understand the crowd like more familiar material. 3 /4 shows for me this tour and I think it was the best. Next Tampa for my 18th overall show.
