1. I was up to watch this and I thought that it was pretty good. Personally, I like a bit of a rasp on a singer. It wasn't as good as Sheffield (and I don't think I'm saying that because I was there), but it was okay. Many people have made the point that to the casual viewer/listener, there wouldn't be anything wrong with it and I think they're right. We're just dedicated to point of being totally anal, so one little slip and some of us feel that it's the end of the world. Also, so what if after this tour they're not the biggest band in the world anymore? It won't stop them producing great music and may even take enough heat off them that they'll have a go at making another album like Pop. Now, THAT would be marvellous. That they gave it a shot at all is enough for me.

    Now - next complainant, please...

I think we should make a post saying if you want to stay in a happy place, don't, for the love of God, read this thread.

No kidding, I think we need a Surgeon General's warning on this one.

  3. A lot..how was the Stone Age, enjoyed it there?

    Forgive my sarcasm

Mexico is a great DVD, Leeds would have been better. Sydney was amazing, but I rather would have an earlier ZooTV show. Vertigo was more than OK but most would have wanted another show. The point is, they have to shoot the DVD and the band did its best. We are all spoiled

    100% agreed
  5. 'Lossless' flac by recording a low bitrate MP3 stream using a recording program that records the signal after the windows mixer/volume control

Useless, hopefully a true streamrip turns up.
  6. I've also edited the bootleg info with the (extremely short) lineage and the taper's name.
  7. Wow, ill have to read the 70 pages i missed after school today...

  8. Not really.
You'll only find 70 pages of bitching comments of disappointed people, moaning about the sound, the performance and the audience. And then a few positive and optimistic reviews.

ah come on. most of us just thought it wasnt their best gig. arent we allowed to say that? maybe we are a little spoiled BUT I'm sure we all have to give U2 kudos for broadcasting (and Youtube for the perfect stream)

Did I say you weren't allowed to? If you weren't allowed to say that, I would have closed the thread and banned you all
