    Hot & desired U2 boots often generate trouble, maybe indeed it has little to do with people who rework raw sources, but somehow the atmosphere is easily ruined when a heavily desired source pops up. I think you're right, tapers might want to stay out of the bitchfights and wait until people aren't that greedy anymore.

    Ask him only if you want to know yourself, I have to confess I'm not that much interested in IEMs anyway.

  4. This iem's will be dead. The Taper don't allow to use the iem's for a matrix. So project is dead and the Thread can be closed.

    Ps: I've finished the mix of London 1+2, it's a very very good quality. Pity.

    That is a pitty, especially because IEMs sound very harsh normally
  6. It was really hard to remove the tics and clicks from the iem's, which has taken weeks of work. Too bad..

  11. It's not smart to bite the hand that feeds you (regarding sharing the IEM tapes without the tapers permission).

    That said, I think it was kind of lame to basically flaunt the recordings, talk about how much work you did and how grand they sound...and then "oh taper said no! oh well!" Next time maybe not post all sorts of information until it's finished and ready to roll. It'd be different if you taped it...but it was up to somebody else.

    And clicks and ticks--you're talking about the metronome or just small bursts of static?
