  1. don't think tey'll chicken out. bono, unfortunately and again, seems to be over excited so we just have to be realistic. they will release something. An album?? don't know... i think the`worst we will get from them with the expectations the band themselves put on us is these five songs mentioned (mercy, that might become a b side to the next single if it is polished, kingdom, that seems ready, winter, that's ready, and everybreaking wave, that''s ready) to become an EP with 2 more songs or they'll be released with the Crazy Tonight Remix in the 2001-2010 the best of that might be out by easter....

    B-Sides on singles? MOS is coming out, Every Breaking Wave on the flip side would work. Sounds like 45 a bit too

    They DID release stuff as B-Sides with Vertigo, unless....I'm not going to say

    No-one ever said it will fully be a studio album as in new songs and not released before.

    Coldplay did the same (Lost +, remix of Lovers In Japan), so why not U2?


    Oh, and calling them pussies would make no sense, cause they never officially said they'd be working on an album. After all, some soundguy from the recording studio isnt the most reliable source.


  8. At their stage in the game they shouldn't only snippet Mofo but play it full. Discotheque was played what, just three times last tour? Seems they're afraid of their most experimental material, which a lot of fans pay good money to see in concert. Big deal they dusted off UV, at least they had some balls to do that. And Kingdom should be released somewhere along the line, it's a decent song by my standards.

  10. True, perhaps they should rename it Songs of Descent based on their last album

    Honestly, Kingdom and Every Breaking Wave should be B-Sides, unless they're saving those for subscribers and figure they can squeeze an extra buck out of the public. Bastards.

    Songs Of Ascent isnt completely a dream just yet..an article in Rolling Stone isnt that trustworthy at all either
