    America has a democracy, the problem is it seems the upper class has a hold on the government. The President doesn't have supreme power like people think. Yes he is commander-in-chief of the US Army and Navy, but Congress and Senate got some power too. Too many people have been lost in the commercialization of voting and elections, it's depressing.

    However, people are rational and self-interested, so presumably they make a big deal of the process.

    I love money, but I hate what it does to people sometimes....sigh.

Just because I didn't jump on the Obama dicksuck train like the rest of you, doesen't mean I agree with Beck, I meant them as two entirely separate issues, both of which I have strong feelings about, without a connection between the two of them. Also, the Ft . Hood gunman survived. His death was misreported.

    Setlle down. It was a knock at Beck not you. Just for the record I only voted for Obama. That is as far as I was willing to go for one term.
  11. Sorry for that outburst. Its also worth noting that while I think Beck is nuts, he does bring up some intresting points. Thats why I always do my own research on whatever the comentaters say.
