1. This is all exciting stuff! I hope they keep Kingdom Of Your Love on there. (Mabe they will since people at the shows have at least heard it?) And that Winter gets on the album because I really love that song. Also Every Breaking Wave seems like record execs like it? So maybe that's a good idea too?

I hope they don't include Winter on there. Reason being that it's already been released, so why again? Although that didn't stop them with Wave of Sorrow. Kingdom should surely get on there and Every Breaking Wave, from all the hype - should also get a place.

All I know is this album has had some great stuff come out of it and hopefully that continues, and U2 don't feel the need to go back to mindless rock. However, if they do go back to rock, I should hope it's a good bit of old-style JT rock and roll, not the rock and roll of ATYCLB.
  3. I know a lot of you can't stand the pop/cheese elements of U2 in some albums, but the fact is U2 are caught in a bind. They either make music that is new/fresh/exciting for them but may have massive sales or they go for a road they have already travelled and do really well.

The fact is, that if they keep doing the same stuff, they will eventually get bored and then its no more U2. If they do new music while they don't need the cash I think they really want to see every single person at a 90,000 person gig get into every single song. So when there is almost an uncomfortable level of participation that would be rough!
  4. If they really are gonna make another poppy record because they dont wanna fail in the charts, then I'm possibly out. They should make the kind of music they want to make and they clearly want to make more challenging records. They should not let themselves be scared off by the current music industry. They never did in the past so they cant let that happen now.
  5. I hope U2 will find the time to sit down, relax, and enjoy doing music. I love Breathe, also - I should say, especially - as an opener. Edge, please, don't get discouraged. Please U2, keep going, feel free to do experimental stuff, and feel free not to care about the charts. Trust yourselves!

  7. Whatever the album sounds like, I want The Edge to do some lead vocals.

Agreed. Two of there last 3 albums were safe. Good singles then fillers, whereas NLOTH is a complete gem of an album. They dont need the money of another commercial album, but Edge saying hes annoyed that people couldnt get into breathe is a bad sign. They may go with the hits again. Memo to The Edge: BREATHE IS A CLASS OPENER, WE LOVE IT!! We want more No Line not another atomic Bomb, with all due respect.

Actually I really don't care. As long as we get some new music I'm happy.
  10. For me, NLOTH is the best album that they've made since POP

  11. I used to say since AB, but then I got into POP so I totally agree with you... I mean I also love ATYCLB and HTDAAB but now they have recuperated their status they shouldn´t keep going for singles. A radio song is not necessarily good! NLOTH is a great album with solid tracks that aren´t very easy listening exept for Crazy Tonight, which I like. So please, put out something great regardless of how pop, or how it will do in the charts. Don´t become irrelevant please U2!

  12. Very nice
Maybe not full lead but a few lines here and there on his own
