1. The Killers
  2. Coldplay for sure
  3. Depends...Muse going from little clubs to sold out Wembley nights and big audience is epic.
But the best album ever is In Rainbows, made by Radiohead in 2007...

And then we still have Snow Patrol, dont underestimate them
  4. I hate Coldplay with a passion. The Killers might not be as popular, but at least they're doing something no one else is doing right now, synth pop/rock. Coldplay is pretty much doing what U2 is doing, just crappier. The Killers are an amazing band with tons of talent.
  5. The White Stripes,,,,
  6. Either the Flaming Lips, NIN, or Bruce Springsteen. Too hard to choose.
  7. Coldplay is the biggest band of this decade.
But they do have a fairly unique sound of their own, albeit heavily borrowed from others, they're sort of a meld between U2 and a much mild, happy Radiohead

It's true that they're not as creative as the Killers though (which are also one of my favourite bands).
But their music is just bigger. The Killer's have nothing that has the loft of Clocks or the Scientist.

And Viva La Vida was better album than Day & Age, Coldplay seem to be getting better over time while the Killers have yet to beat their debut with Hot Fuss.

To me Muse is hugely overrated, sure they're unique (but it's not a good kind of unique) they simply don't have the same penchant for melody that the Killers, Coldplay or U2 have and Matt Bellamy is even more annoying than Thom Yorke and his lyrics are silly. But Muse are huge though, bigger than the Killers, would probably just come behind Coldplay in terms of popularity
  8. i dont think Muse is very popular...at least in my country nobody actualy talks about them while people talk about Green Day, Coldplay, Linkin Park and U2 all the time.
  9. Coldplay had many hits in the past ten years. Can't help it
  10. It's Coldplay's decade, for sure.

Honourable mentions to Muse (not as mainstream), U2 (too old for some), Killers (best album was the debut - oops) and Snow Patrol (not as worldwide).
  11. U2 only had Beautiful Day and Window In The Skies plus Saints Are Coming (cover) as hits.

But thats only the release thing. If you look at the shows, U2 is the best
