  1. linear version is soooo much better
  2. I didn't like the Linear version, the new one is so much better. Glad they reworked it

  5. actualy its not that bad. I listened to it three more times and its somehow stuck in my head now. It has some melody after all
  6. I listened to Winter ten more times and its briliant. I love it. Certainly sounds like 8Os stuff. Never judge a U2 song after first listen

    Also, in response to some earlier messages on the thread....just because it has violins in it doesn't make it "just like Viva la Vida". They won't get knocked for that. I honestly can't see how somebody could say that's even close to copying Coldplay's writing.

    Exactly, i've said the same thing before.
    so what if it's same instrument, the arrangement is completely different, has a completely different feel, the strings are much sombre in tone compared VLV's upbeat arrangement.

    Some people are just silly, next thing they'll be saying Breathe also was copied from CP because it has piano in it

  12. im on the fence, i like both a lot, but i want to hear the rest of this new version cuz it could go somewhere great, making it better then the linear version.
