    It won't work as a single. Previous songs of seven minutes cut down to three or four take away the spirit of the song. Fourth single = fail.


  5. they didn´t choose well the singles.
    whem heard NLOTH first time i think to my self, very good album except GOYB and SUC because they don´t fit in the album.

    For first single didn´t saw better than first track with NLOTH and b-side NLOTH2-Super song and not too long.

    For second single crazy tonignt in the begining of summer would fit very well with a live recorded remix as b-side

    Then they could put magnificent and try MOS with a singleversion with the snippet like the rose bowl one, don´t leave us now.

    i think if they tryed as similar as this ,the singles would be strong
  6. It surprises me we havent heard anything of the single yet. If they were still going to release it this year we should have heard anything 'bout it right?

    Maybe they're thinking 2009 is a cursed year and will put it out for the beginning of the 2010 leg. I was listening to this song just tonight and it struck me how dynamically layered it is. It has so many sounds you don't pick up in one shot.

    How do we know it's gonna be a single, by the way? Has Universal confirmed it yet? About it as well, I think it was Eno who said it should have been a first single. I concur.

    I think it was filmed... they filmed the studio sessions in Fez.

    maybe they are cancelling the single because they have the new album ready

    They can't. They advertised that singles box from U2.com as holding four singles...
  12. I can get tears in my eyes from several U2-songs, Moment of Surrender got me this night. Was alone, girlfriend just left and decided to dim the lights, make myself comfortable and listened to MOS from NLOTH. What a song..same height as WOWY for me.
