I like it, and I think it fits well with the tone of the film, but I do think I like the original best.

Listenable, its far from u2s best in my humble opinion. Hands that built was a better soundtrack.

I love the full version. I never liked the Linear one, it sounded like a rough demo made up of many incoherent components with some Christmas jingles and an awful Coldplay reference. I miss the violins from that version, though. Lyrically, it has improved, I love the new chorus and the part about the diary, also the new "home" part. The ending is a bit weak. Not one of their greatest songs, still good.
