1. For me the Edge turns Ultraviolet and The Fly from good to wonderful

  2. She was sick. She is fine now.

But the song wasn't written about her. In fact, HTDAAB album was written by the time that Edge and family learned that his daughter was ill. I think it was U2 by U2 (book) that stated that he found out the day that they were filming the "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" video. (Or at least right about that time).

This is why the tour was about to be announced and then was put on hold - with their starting in San Diego instead of elsewhere, as they would have been in San Diego on that date had they started when they originally intended.

Any fav harmonies? I always love hearing the "Don't turn around" lines in Wild Horses

BTW that Wanderer backing vocals is pretty sweet

"City of Blinding Lights" on the Chicago DVD, Vertigo Tour...during the "Time...won't take the bullet out of this man!" section, where Edge is just WAILING. Literally the highlight of that dvd for me.
  4. the chorus of Breathe........in the beach clips (I kid you not)

...and in City of blinding lights
  5. What do you mean in the beach clips?

  6. Wowwwwwwww that makes a lot more sense.

You know the funny thing, the first time I EVER listened to that song was from that show, because I had the DVD ripped onto my iPod and was only JUST getting into the band at that point...so I turned it on on an airplane for its' first watch/listen. It looked great, but of course on an airplane, you can't really hear shit for what it really is...so basically, every song on that DVD's lyrics were whatever they were to me at that point, as crappily as I heard them on the plane!

So thanks for the correction- I feel better now

    PS: Quick examples-

"Sweet the scent, bitter the taste" instead of "sin" in RTSS
"Take these shoes, quick, crack 'em down some dead end street" in Yahweh

Hah...THANKS! For real! I can't tell you how much better that actually makes me feel, knowing that. Can't get over it for some reason.
  7. RTSS?
  8. Edge has more range (I'd like to see Bono do backup for "Wanderer"). His voice is more graceful, yet, if he needs power, he can bring it up. Here are a couple of my favorite Edge (singing) moments:

However, Bono leads for a reason.
  9. Love Edge in this Yaweh great power in his voice

  10. A couple of demo songs were taped last year near Bono's house, on the beach in France by some guy.

(the quality was pretty crap, but to me that version of Breathe is 10 times better than the one on the album )
