Well, they wrote over a 100 songs for ATYCLB, didn't they...

I'm more hopeful over these left-overs, though. Listen to these:

Wow you definitely see the glass half always full with this band.
What kind of narcotics are you using?

  3. Yep. The song which is in the start of both videos sounds really cool and as I was disappointed that it is not on NLOTH. So I hope for SOA, it could be their best song after 1997

  4. Oh man. Well she must appeal to someone. I'm not sure whether it's a bloody good exercise in marketing or people seeing her as a battler, but it's clearly something.

I hope with SoA it's going to be something we don't hear all that often. No Line is a great step in that direction.

  5. im high on life and the we r talking about a band whos given us JT, AB, etc, the glass has been overflowing for many years now.

some of these sound really interesting, the one in 2nd vid when bono says 'Tripoli' stood out the most.
  7. the first jam of the first video really reminds me of the hansa ton recordings.

I think the cup might have had a hole in it from 2000 to 2007.

yeah man, I was sooo disappointed that song didn't make it on NLOTH.
(could be their best since AB )

  10. Yeah, I remember watching those vids and liking the songs a while ago... I hope they don't change so much like they did with magnificent and unknown caller cause they were really nice with all those musicians and experiments...
  11. I really think that there should be some new material or another single or something out to take on tour this summer. We know how long it takes the band to finish an album as of late and this idea came across my mind the other day:

    - Why not release the best of 2000-2010 and have a bonus EP of five or six new songs like Matchbox Twenty did with their greatest hits album. This way anyone who picks up the CD can be reminded of the past decade of U2 and get a glimpse of where they might be headed in the next decade.

I know it's a long shot and not many will agree with me, but I'm really eager to hear more new music!
