Genreally speaking, everyone, that they thought it was afe to release by now, they have.

That's not the point, as I said, it's more to keep their own people quiet. If they were going to fit them in their societies people would protest just like you are doing so now. But if americans protest it will be bad for the US government.therefore they prefer to send them out of America.

Send them to Detroit. Second biggist Arab population outside of the middle east. Also, the cops are hard-asses so they woulnd't do anything.

  3. Chris is right and you can't deny it. Big countries control the small ones. Directly or indirectly. *cough*EU*cough*

I know he's right. Diffrence is, the U.S. does it well, well the E.U. seems kinda incompetent, and corrupt. Some would argue the U.S. is incompetent, and corrupt, but the E.U. is more ovious about it.

The thing is, countries don't look up to the US with admirance (u-oh the perfect country, democracy, freedom and prosperity), but fear.

Some would argue its better too be feared than respected.

In other news: Bono would be proud of me. I'm trying to organize a concert to make money for Haiti.
  7. Great idea, a concert

Corrupt is not the word, its just that every decision takes months/years/decades to get through. Plus the fact we are not 'Europeans' does not help.

People feel Dutch, Slovak, German, French but not European. And I hope it stays that way. The EU is a nice idea, but it would be better if it was for economic reasons only. (Trading, border control, etc).

Also the EU is expanding without the peoples consent. Bulgaria never should have been allowed. It doesnt help that the USA is pushing us to accept Turkey as well. Nothing against those countries, but i think these decisions should be backed up by the people.

Because a lot of money is spent in Brussel and a lot is wasted.

Agreed. The reason the U.S. works, is all our secular diffrencs aside, we feel American.
  9. That's right, Bulgaria should have never been allowed to join the EU, the amount of corrupcy and mafia control in the country is immense. I also don't think that Turkey should be allowed to join.

Not only expanding, but also making decisions people are against. ''The French and the Dutch voted NO.'' ''So we'll change it and there'll be no voting.'' ''The Irish voted NO.'' ''So they'll vote again and this time, scare them properly.''

Oh dear There was a discussion with a Slovak member of the European Parliament at my school last week, and she went ''Well, you know, I have this nice apartment in Brussels and also in Strasbourg, one night there cost 200€...'' with a smile on her face. And how she decsribed the restaurants they have there...Besides, she's from the biggest government party of Slovakia, so she kept saying her social yadda yadda...she bascially did what left-wingers do: speak a lot and say nothing. Bollocks, sheer bollocks
  10. The whole strassbourg / brussel thing is completely ridiculous. A couple of times a year everyone moves from one place to another to keep ego's of some countries in tact

And yes that treaty was a scam. Let everyone vote. Get hit by the NO-truck, change a few letters, the title and the semantics and shove it through our throats.

I'm sure the Americans can now see that we are not European Hope they dont catch us, since all internet logs are saved

  11. Really? I'm not so sure about that. The mismanagement of the wars as mentioned before wasn't that "right". And also, if it wasn't for US' not-right management of the world, there would be no reason for radicals to become so powerful, there would've been no 9/11 in the first place. And then no wars to be mismanaged.

    Couldn't agree more.
