Maybe that's why they paired her with Stevie Nicks, so that viewers could distract themselves from the pain...
...by experiencing a different kind of pain?
I'm at a loss. I actually really enjoyed Lady Gaga and Elton John opening the show though. IMO, the Grammy's have gotten their opening dead-on for two years in a row now

True, both have been odd (bono with makeup, and well, lady gaga, nuff said) but they've been good. I'm disappointed U2 didn't perform this year. Anyone know why? It would've been cool to see them do the remixed crazy tonight at the grammys.

Colbert's speech was gold. "Well, first of all, it was a Christmas album, so I'd like to thank Jesus Christ...for having such an AWESOME birthday!"

"you'll be the prince and I'll be the princess..."
All the sophistication of Bob Dylan right there....

I have to say, those are probably better lyrics than half of the other crappy songs that won awards (even though that's not saying much).
For those who actually wanted a real band to win something, AC/DC won for War Machine from Black Ice. I do like that song, but not the whole album.
Baby, I can feel your halo, halo!
