    Neon Lights was on Medium, Rare & Remastered and on the Vertigo-single, that's correct. (As was Are You gonna Wait Forever on some Vertigo single-editions.)
    Neon Lights is a good tune: it's a cover from a Kraftwerk song.

  10. Knowing it, it's probably a soundcheck. From what I remember it definitely sounded to be a soundcheck.

    It's a cut intro (think the edit of Magnificent in that sense) and just has Bono nearly scat-singing. I know during earlyvsessions for all the albums Larry says they try out ''scat vocal''. That's why I think it's a studio cut and like the Two Hearts 13-song set of all those acetate mixes it might have more...

    "Neon Lights" is good for what it is. And what it is, is a cover of a Kraftwerk song.
