Not that I think they would, but if they do what Aerosmith did on their last live show (sticking interviews over solos or fix the audio) I'll go nuts.

Confirmed: U2 Pasadena DVD Coming Soon

Look for U2 to make an announcement soon that a DVD of last year's U2 360 concert in Pasadena is on the way. There's a web page setup now at livedvd.u2.com with this message:

U2 will release a DVD of the Pasadena Rose Bowl concert in 2010. The band are still working on the exact content of the DVD, but if you register here you can be the first to hear about an exclusive format.

And below that is a form for your name, email address, and country. There's no indication of the exact date that the DVD will be released, but there are recent rumors suggesting a late May release (just in time for the North American tour to resume). In case that URL above disappears now that we've reported it, here's a screenshot of the image. (Thx to Lance and David for help with this news.)

I enjoyed the YouTube broadcast and even watched some of it the other day, but I really hope there are are more/better shots of the claw. I mean just watching the band on that little round black thing is not really all that impressive. 360 deserves a better DVD than that.

RUMOR: NEW SONGS FOR U2 360 DVD BUYERS

Take it with a grain of salt for now, but there's a juicy rumor that's been posted in the U2eastlink.com forums today, and it goes something like this:

The U2 360 Rose Bowl DVD will include a code that lets DVD owners download new songs from U2.com.

The new songs will be in "various formats" -- i.e., audio and video.
U2 will do some kind of live promo to promote the new songs.
All of this will be announced on Monday.

When asked by another fan what the source of this rumor is, the original poster says "Universal Spain." We should note that U2tour.de also reported over this weekend that the DVD will be announced on Monday, and that it will be called U2 360 at the Rose Bowl. (thx to @msthefly)

That Dutch show maybe? Sounds interesting, well see if this rumour has any grouding behind it tomorrow anyway, so not too long to wait
