What happened after that? freakin nothing! It was like boring and dead serious 24. The guy even looked like Jack Bauer.

Im not saying Avatar should have won it but there were simply no great movies last year...

Funny, I've read similar stories from people over here in the NL who basically said the movie sucked.
Don't have an opinion yet, cuz' I haven't seen it yet.

I didn't think it was that long. I liked how it was really kinda a suspense movie disguised as a war movie.

Also, Jeremy Renner looks nothing like Kiefer Sutherland.
  3. I've seen the movie last weekend and I must say I liked it. It's long, yes. But the movie can have it and it needs it to build up the suspense. A lot of suspense in this one.
And pretty funny how the only two famous actors in this movie die within 5 minutes: Guy Pierce and Ralph Fiennes (still don't know how to pronounce his name, though...)

    He pronunces it Rafe.

Also has a brief apperance by David morse. If you know who he is, you probally agree that he is the shit.
  5. Yup! David Morse is a great actor, BTW...he can play anything with true conviction: good guy, bad guy.....he does it all. This guy is HUGE, BTW....

    He is pretty damn tall.

I thought he was great in The Green Mile. Actually, pretty much everyone in the movie shined.
  7. Yup! In The Green Mile he played a perfect role. As in almost all of his films.
    I really like that guy.
  8. saw The Hurt Locker tonight. B movie at best.

  9. Yet to watch it. Dad got it on DVD the other week, but I'm not really a movie guy at the moment. Definitely want to see it though, same with stuff like Avatar and whatnot. Might as well judge for myself since they've got all the bloody hype lol...
