1. Absolutely, Gera surprised me in a very positive way, he was really great I didn't get all the fuzz around Bobby Zamora, he seemed very static and so. Anyway, the Atletico deserved the win, not only for yesterday's match (which was pretty good by both teams), but for the excellent competition they've done. Moreover, Atletico de Madrid is a team that is, traditionally, really really unlucky. I'm happy for them
  2. less than a month till the world cup... can't wait.

  3. I'll be in England when the final is played. Hopefully The Three Lions manage to get there so that I can experience the madness.

Albion? And yeah it will be pretty mad if we do

  5. As far as I know, it was Latin for England and our sports commentators use it quite often. I changed it to the Three Lions
  6. Against Spain of course

Yes, it's right. Albion is the Latin name of England. We use it often too, in a slightly despective way (XVIII and XIX centuries rivalries are not completely forgotten )
  8. Haha, yeah don't worry, we forgive you .

West Bromwich Albion is the team I love/support so I thought it was cool, yeah acctually, I think I heard the England used to be called Albion like a couple of thousands of years ago

To be fair to the lad, he was recovering from an injury. Probably shouldn't have started and probably wouldn't have if it was a normal league game as opposed to a cup final.

Yeahh Gera was class for West Brom too.

To be fair Bobby Zamora has had one good season but other than that he has been absoloutely terrible, he was shocking so I don't think anyone should be getting their hopes up about him. Yeah he wouldn't have started normally.

Yeah, Gera has always been a consistently good performer, however I just can't imagine him doing so well at a higher level. Certainly cut out for a midtable/Europa League Premiership life but I think that's it. Can't see him in a team pushing for 6th upwards. As unfortunate as that is. Though that said, you can't judge the influence of top coaches and players around him.

Zamora is like a strawberry. Lovely when in season, not so lovely when out of season. Has his moments but is very inconsistent which is a shame because when he is on form he is a good player. Would dare say his rise to his current status is largely down to his partnership with Harewood at West Ham. Since both have left funnily enough, they've both gone off the boil. Zamora was formiddable at Brighton.

Yeah youre right but to be honest I don't want a formiddable Brighton player in the England World Cup squad. Haha. Yeah Gera seems to be too tired towards the end of games, he's always been like that. I think he could play for Aston Villa because I reckon he's better than James Milner and 100% better than Downing! Oh! Don't get me started on Downing!! Haha.

Do you think we have a chance of winning the World Cup?
