My bad, funny typo lol. Edited, thanks!
  4. Cant wait...short question: who will be crowned world champion? I would say top favourite is Spain...Holland, Argentina, Germany are outsiders.
  5. My guts tell me that Italy will screw against us...

I hope Holland. It's MASSIVE when "Oranje" participates to a WC/EC... A whole nation colouring orange and really going MAD... Those Dutchies are really some weird man and woman

BUT i guess Spain will win, as you said... Impressive team

    Spain, England and Brazil somehow.

Argentina with Maradona..hmm, won't reach the final. Brazil, even without Ronaldinho, has an excellent squad. Germany misses Ballack, they won't make it either.

Italy is an underdog, same for Holland. Spain as European champions are favourites, but remember Italy on Euro 2008? As World Champions they were nowhere.

Talking about that: Italy were surprising World Champions in 2006, Spain were surprising European Champions in 2008..maybe England will be the new surprising World Champion in 2010. Strong team, just like Italy and Spain, but never won anything great in recent years. Same goes for Holland though. Close in 1998, 2000, 2004 and 2008.

Right, but Argentina has Messi and just like Maradona did in '86 I think Messi is able to win games on his own. Brazil wont make it because they'll be defeated in QF by us (Holland) hopefully. And as you probabely know we can NEVER count out the Germans in major tournaments so we just have to name them among favourits

England has a change though, forgot to mention them...

Messi isn't as impressive with Argentina as he is with Barca. They struggled their way through the qualifications so I think they will be defeated somewhere in the Q-finals.

That's because Argentina can't work well together and Barcelona can.

  11. And because Xavi and Iniesta are the best midfielders in the world by far!! With those guys behind him it is possible for Messi to excellerate. When Maradona succeed in creating a strong duo in the center I believe Argentina can come far. But like Casper said, they havent succeed during qualifications to find the balance in which Messi can perform at top level like he does at Barcelona....Xavi and Iniesta are also the driving force in Spain's team so that's why they are the top favourite in my opinion.
  12. Yeah Spain or Brazil for the win.

Can't really see England winning it, we have no world class goalkeeper, our midfield is very strong but only 1 world class striker.

Can't imagine Ferdinand is better than Puyol...
