  2. Did nobody sync the FM audio to the DVD? If that is still the case in July i will do it myself
    Although i dont see the use in uploading it to YouTube. You will loose a lot of quality.

    But if you wanna give it a go, I could extract the Leeds part, re-encode the DVD, and upload it. Not before next week, though. Or, if you only wanna put it on youtube,, I can do an avi conversion and upload that one tomorrow.


    i'd see it as 'improving' rather than 'bastardizing'! surely syncing it up with a much better audio source and making it available for streaming would only be a positive thing and a welcome addition on here to one of the best popmart shows?! (the original audio on the one video of bullet is pretty terrible)

    if you could upload the tracks though i would be eternally grateful. and yes my intention is only to put it on youtube (in the highest possible quality) - would there be a vast difference in quality between an avi conversion and a re-encoded dvd? how incomplete is the show? and would you be able to upload the tracks separately?

    really appreciate whatever you can do though
  4. When you dont do anything with the video, you wont loose even with synchronisation.

    Ripping the DVD to AVI then synching and then uploading to YouTube will have affect on quality.

  6. i know it will affect the quality but surely it would be good to have it on youtube - it takes a fair bit of time and effort to download a whole show and having it on youtube will make it available to the more casual fan

    -as you said the quality of that btbs video was not too bad

  8. Sure, but I'd work with the original DVD. Demux the video and audio stream. Sync the audio stream with the video stream in Premiere, dont do anything with the video.

    Only export the audio and remux with the original video stream. THEN upload to YouTube

    Might be hard since the recording is not complete, but from first glance only One / Rain are missing?

    Anyway, it would be cool to have it on youtube, and dont let me stop you. Just some advice!




  9. ok then the not quite obsessive but not quite casual fan!

    like myself - i cant really be bothered to download a whole show but i love watching whats available on youtube every now and again (las vegas, jo'berg, santiago etc)

    There are plenty of little cuts in it. A bitch of a job for a video source that isn't good at all. Would be much better projects out there to take on if you were looking.

    yeah maybe... guess it's just that leeds means the most to me. but having not seen the vid, if it's as bad as that maybe it would'nt be worth the hassle after all...
