(the original audio on the one video of bullet is pretty terrible)

if you could upload the tracks though i would be eternally grateful. and yes my intention is only to put it on youtube (in the highest possible quality) - would there be a vast difference in quality between an avi conversion and a re-encoded dvd? how incomplete is the show? and would you be able to upload the tracks separately?

really appreciate whatever you can do though

Putting it up on youtube is a downgrade. What you win on the audio, you loose on video.
Difference between a well transfered DVD and an average avi file is like day and night. Negligible though if you just wanna stream it. Especially on that source.
Have to check the chapters on the DVD, but i'd probably have to cut the the tracks myself to upload them separately. Don't feel too much motivation to do that. But you can easily do it yourself. Lots of free programs out there.

i'll send you the DVD in the post if you want. I've no cause to watch it
  3. but anyway - i'd still really like to see the show even if i don't bother with the youtube idea!

so if anyone could upload it in the near future that would be great! (this is one show i would definitely take the time to download!)

  4. really? that'd be great! is it that unwatchable though?!

  5. couldn't be arsed splitting the VOB's (not even sure how easy that is). It's on the same file as Edinburgh 87. Odd combo

I'd give it 4/10 ric. It's dark and shaky. Good to have for nostalgia anyway.
  6. Ok Weird combo indeed.

no i wouldn't expect you to go to the trouble of cutting it up especially.

my knowledge of editing programs etc is extremely limited at the moment!

  8. showing your age there.
  9. So both shows are like 2GB Because DVD9 must have been really expensive then

ok well i'd love to see it either way and really appreciate the offer!

i wonder what the hell happened to the person i saw at Leeds filming the whole show from up in one of the lighting towers on a tripod??!! just looked like one of the spotlight operators had invited a mate up there to film - didn't look official in any way (casual clothes, not using a professional camera etc)

maybe their camera caught fire on the way home or something...?
