1. The same Jaime Rodriguez who spoke to that medic yesterday has posted this on his twitter:

"Miembros del equipo técnico de la gira han comentado a un grupo de fans que la gira se retomaría el 27 de junio en Minneapolis".
    =
"Members of the tour staff have told a group of fans that the tour will probably be resumed on 27th June in Minneapolis".

I don't know if it had been posted before though

  2. With a little bit of bad luck more dates than just the opening night.
Anyaway, I wish Bono all the best: he's the one who suffers the most here.
  3. That sounds good

Think the operation was not really medically urgent, but Bono decided to do it now before it would ruin the tour for him. Like football players have operations before big games to make sure they are fit when they need to be. Instead of playing the game and damaging they body even more.

A mere 2 days after Glatsonbury; it baffles me that they wouldn't still play that. Perhaps they're meaning the tour proper starts on the date following Glatso, and they'll open Leg III with it?
  5. all this guessing on when the tour kicks off is really useless, we don't even know how bad it is, what the recovery time is and how fast bono wants to test his back again. better wait and hope.
  6. Bono is treated by one of the best doctor in the world with a technique of rapid recovery. Members of the Construction Crew said that after 3-4 weeks Leg 3 will restart (on U2interference).... So... it's only rumor but it's realistic ! The latest rumor is that the Leg 3 will begin directly in Minneapolis, Bono will take 4 days off at the hospital and four weeks at home. Rumor say that the other show before will be postponed, one by one this week.
  7. Edit

I was going to ask if there was any word on his condition, but after a more thorough Google search lol, I concluded that there isn't. But, that might be good, the press realizes that he needs his space and is leaving him alone. Idk, at least that's what I hope it is.
  8. Any fan from Minneapolis here to see if the construction crew is there ?

  9. I don't know where the other 2 Claws are at the moment, but one of them is on about 50 trucks, still here in a SLC parking lot near Rice Eccles. I drove by this morning and they were still here. That suggests to me that even the band at this moment doesn't know which city will be the opener. If they knew, then they would send these trucks on toward some city (perhaps not the opening city, but some city thereafter scheduled).

I spoke to a truck driver last night and gave him a few dollars in exchange for his texting me the city where these trucks are ordered to drive to - he said he would text me as soon as he got the order. So we'll see. I hope he keeps his end of the deal and texts me ... I paid him for it!

    gg
  10. Doesnt say much where they bring one Claw, except if it is to a show in early June, which i doubt.
  11. I understand that people who have tix (and maybe flights and hotel booked) for the shows early in the leg are a little nervous, but why is the whole u2 world freakin out so much?
It's not like Bono is struggling for his life or something.
So how about leaving the tea leaves where they are, leaning back, enjoying the sun and waiting for an announcement?
  12. Why would they already drive the equipment to eg Minneapolis, where it can just be built up within 3/4 weeks...

But were going off topic again : Bono's surgery !
