the comments didn't come as any surprise to me.. guess its just the first time i've read them when i'm genuinely gutted about something U2 related. -they are the very people i was hoping U2 would prove wrong and i can just imagine how happy they all are... just wait til the comments on NME.com start coming through..

on the other hand maybe it would've been a piss bottle ridden disaster... if the ratio of good to bad comments on that link are anything to go by

There's a hell of a lot more of them where they came from. Ah well - shit happens. I guess in Australia they're liked a bit more for whatever reason.

On the other hand, what's Aerosmith doing that weekend? They're doing little festivals. I say get them in.
