1. Nevermind, I found it. Ward Park, in Bangor.

    This was yesterday's setlist:

    1. Open Your Eyes
    2. Take Back The City
    3. Chocolate
    4. Hands Open
    5. You Could Be Happy
    6. Make This Go On Forever
    7. What If This Storm Ends?
    8. Shut Your Eyes
    9. Spitting Games (Reworked)
    10. Run (Reworked)
    11. Big Broken
    12. Set The Fire
    13. Planets Bend Between Us (Reworked)
    14. Chasing Cars
    15. If There's A Rocket Tie Me To It
    -
    16. Just Say Yes
    17. You're All I Have

Indeed, it lacks some old stuff, but looks very very good. I like it.
  2. I would have expected more songs than 17. Maybe 20 would have been better
  3. It was more a festival than a Snow Patrol concert so 17 isn't terrible. They also didn't take to the stage until after 9 so I wouldnt be surprised if they were given the hurry up and ditched a song or 2.

Yep, Dark Roman Wine was on the setlist but was ditched - they had to stop at 11pm.

  5. Of all the songs they could have dropped.

  6. One of the oldies, such a shame. They could have ditched other ones, DRW always features amazing vocals by Gary.
  7. It's from Up to now, so the opposite of an "oldie". Beautiful song nevertheless.
  8. Probably wouldn't have went down too well anyway. The crowds at those gigs are greatest hits crowds. Out of the 40 thousand last night i'd wager that 70% of them knew only the hits anyway. Watching the youtube videos, the majority seem to be content with talking and drinking.

  9. Yes, I know it was released in Up To Now (I have the double CD album) but it was written much before, wasn't it? (I think )

A little shame. They indeed played 16 songs in Amsterdam. Rather short although it did include Lightning Strike.

Good to see they played The Planets in reworked form. From all the songs I wanted to hear, I missed that one in Amsterdam. Eagerly awaiting your broadcast Gerard.
  11. home a little late. Haven't had perfect time to get the perfect spot for my radio. See what happens
