  5. Trying to memorize most of the lyrics, along with the vocalist in our band, so that we can open shows with it. Not easy stuff, but it's coming around.

    Some verses are really tricky, but print yourself a copy and sing it out loud some times (even slow it down if you need to), it worked for me (and I'm not native, which makes it harder)

    Haha yep that's what I've been doing- and I can't imagine how much harder it would be for you. It's the shorter parts that are hard for me, like the whole "Vitriolic patriotic slam fight bright light feelin' pretty psyched"...the longer phrases are easier to remember.

    Been working my way through "Sea Change" this morning, first time ever listening all the way through. I'm loving it as a whole better than in separate parts.

    were the toughest for me. But it worked out, and now I can sing it even quicker than the original

    also, in general, i'd just like to point out how impressed i am with U2Start's overall taste in music. I've not seen a bad song mentioned in this thread for ages.
