1. They played at Rock In Rio here in Madrid last Friday and they epically succeeded. The best Livin On A Prayer I ever heard...

  2. Guess I'm Doing Fine- Beck
  3. Good Times Bad Times - Led Zeppelin

  4. Trying to memorize most of the lyrics, along with the vocalist in our band, so that we can open shows with it. Not easy stuff, but it's coming around.

Some verses are really tricky, but print yourself a copy and sing it out loud some times (even slow it down if you need to), it worked for me (and I'm not native, which makes it harder)

Haha yep that's what I've been doing- and I can't imagine how much harder it would be for you. It's the shorter parts that are hard for me, like the whole "Vitriolic patriotic slam fight bright light feelin' pretty psyched"...the longer phrases are easier to remember.

    Right now: Little One- Beck

Been working my way through "Sea Change" this morning, first time ever listening all the way through. I'm loving it as a whole better than in separate parts.
  7. "Team by team reporters baffled, trumped, tethered cropped"
    and
Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs. Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic, slam book neck, right?"

were the toughest for me. But it worked out, and now I can sing it even quicker than the original

    Back on topic,

Led Zeppelin - Over The Hills And Far Away
  8. Ha, "team by team reporters baffled" is one of the only parts I know by heart at the moment!

Cuts Like a Knife- Bryan Adams

lot of Zeppelin going around this morning! (today? What time is it in the world?)
  9. The Ocean - Led Zeppelin

just bought Houses of the Holy today, so i'm having a little LZ session.

also, in general, i'd just like to point out how impressed i am with U2Start's overall taste in music. I've not seen a bad song mentioned in this thread for ages.
  10. You just got me listening to Led Zeppelin, Dan

Led Zeppelin - Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
  11. Straight Into Darkness-Tome Petty and The Heartbreakers

One of there most overlooked tracks.
