    QFT.

Also, I think this performance of NLOTH is one of my favorite tracks on the DVD. They don't show the crowd at all (probably because not very many people knew it/were into it- they can't all know it as well as we do ), and so it's a really nice video of the band. The lighting makes it look really neat, too...I don't know how to describe it...almost like they were shooting a music video of themselves. They could probably just take that track from the DVD, make a couple quick edits to the beginning and the end, and pass it off as a pretty decent music video.
  2. Yeah, NLOTH looked like a live videoclip. It would've been a decent single and video, for sure.
Anyway, forget about 2009 singles, and go on with 2010-11 ones
  3. Still waiting for my copy to arrive, but UV on U2.com rocks. What a song!

  4. i will have my copy in about 15 hours i will get fuk all sleep tonight

  5. Héhé, wouldn't be such a bad idea actually But ofcourse, in my opinion, that moment couldn't become worse (or stranger)... Except if Bono still had the jacket on when it was taken away

    Indeed, Slane is untouchable
  6. blu ray delivered. Slip case is nice and massive kudos to the boys for putting a booklet in the cover. This is the first blu ray I have bought with a booklet. Good start. Shall watch it later.
  7. Think i might watch it again tonight. Never really done that with a DVD so far, watch it again within a week of first seeing it, so it must be a compliment to it in some way or another

I wasn't impressed with the HD output on the Blu-Ray, hoping I've messed with something that's degraded the picture. Usually Blu-Rays are exceptionally portrayed on the TV but this lacked the clarity and sharpness I associate with Blu-Ray media, especially in the face.

I don't think all camera were HD though, particularly noticeable in some of the long shots and from the air. But maybe that's my system again, going to have a fiddle later.

I was impressed with the packaging though, liked the slip case, the photo booklet etc.

r u gona watch it on ur ps3?
  10. Holy crap thats a bad blu ray. Where is all that noise coming from? Its like watching Rattle and Hum in colour. It's been filmed too dark for eye popping image quality and where there is enough light they effing fade the shots!! Shold have used a European gig and used the daylight to get that awesome picture that blu ray allows. Can't believe how bad this is.

Will judge the rest later but visually, they have lost the plot.
  11. Got my DVD. Some songs are great, but Bono shouts too much and sings too high. Vertigo and TUF are out of reach for him now - he can sing these songs, but they destroy his voice if he sings them every other night for 4 months in a row.
  12. Agree on TUF, but Vertigo? His voice in Pasadena wasnt the best, but there have been great Vertigo's this tour.

Although I like the South American version during the previous tour better. With the extended outro.
