1. never apologize. Emotions run high during world cups.
  2. The Capello argument is a tough one because we had an excellent qualifying campaign yet failed to turn up when it mattered. So something has gone wrong.

I personally would say that our squad selection (the chosen 23) and tactics were all wrong and this leads back to Capello. So the next question is why? Why have things gone belly up when it was oh so perfect?

But like I said, we needed different tactics and some players shouldn't have even gone to the World Cup.
  3. Very understandable mate! (Meant as a reply to Josh's post)

Yeah agreed, we need an English manager for an English team.

    Thanks
  5. Problem is, some people on here seem to fuel the fire. It's our nation and our nation alone to criticise to the extent that some people are on here. It's not even done respectfully.

  6. Since Capello doesn't know English that well. I think Harry Redknapp would make a great manager for England.
  7. Argentina now 3 - 0 up. This third goal is a beauty!

  8. I don't think the problem necessarily is the nationality. Capello probably knows more about football tactics etc than most English managers. It's about having an understanding with the players and being confident to be creative with them. something Capello seems to lack a bit. Plus his spoken english isn't that good so if he's trying to convey messages in training and the dressing rooms, some may be going through an interpretor.

Yeah a lot of people hate England for some reason...

Also class 3rd goal, shame for Mexico, we know how they feel

  10. Indeed. Spectacle has been knocked out of the game though now which is a shame.

  11. Not for me, I have a bet going on for it to end in 4 - 0

  12. I think the England manager should be a manager who is in full time management or is going to get involved with clubs week in week out.

If a manager is going to be employed as a separate figure, I think that the England team (which should be an elite group of players, not those who've had a good few games) should join up and have a training session each month -and clubs should allow this as part of the fact they're competing in FA competition. This way, the England players will have a good bond with each other and will know each other's on pitch abilities a bit better.
