1. nah, this wouldn't be u2.com-logic
  2. Site is back up; no changes
  3. had to check now as well, since you brought up some excitement here site works fine for me, nothing new though.

    happy 4th of July Americans
(my horse has its brithday today, too, good ol'boy...but that doesn't count for a holiday )
  4. Maybe their site couldnt handle the 200 new tour dates

I expect an announcement soon about the tourdates.
  5. well, let's see....first Down Under... then South America..... the rescheduled US gigs.... then South Africa to praise the all new stadiums they just built..... on to Chris' garden... and then whole Europe again to end the tour in Dublin..... make that 2009-2012.... by then we have the 4 years covered they need for a new album.... which they will release by fall 2012 and head right into the new tour....

  6. Sounds good doesnt it
  7. it does indeed you could have a pre-show party the night before, with u2start members from all over the world coming to your garden.... warming you up for the big show.... BBQ and all..... should be a nice little tribal gathering of the faithful..... I'm sure your neighbors wouldn't mind.
  8. I wouldn't be surprised if they tour on this for a longer time than Vertigo. They really can't go TOO much bigger than this, let's not kid ourselves, and I think they'll want to really utilize this stage to the most of their ability, playing lots of different songs and such underneath it.

Wouldn't be surprised to find them back in arenas- perhaps even a very very small, exclusive, theater tour- in (less than)10 years.
  9. Dream out loud

  10. "Amen, brother" (don't know on which show Bono said that, just heard his voice in my mind as I read your words.... the Bootleg Jukebox (TM) inside me playing again )

I think you're right, Matt. They can't get any bigger than this. After 360 I see them back in smaller arenas as well.
Vertigo was officially 2005 and 2006, right? which band holds the record for the longest tour so far? Stones or who? have no idea...
