1. Hey fellas.

    Invader

    E............Eaug
    Blinded invader
    Strange and crooked stranger
    Without a saint or savior
All started with love, what we were made for

    C.............................Em...............................G............B7
We could mend the seems, and bend the dreams
We could end the schemes, to blind extremes

    E.....................................Eaug
    When polar emotions collide
    Soul stops transcending our mind
    E.........................................Eaug.......................................E..............Eaug
When heart proves to be corrupt, we could blame the invader

    Don’t you stop, the preaching
    You’re official impeaching
    The damned and darkened reaching
    Or invading corruption ceasing

We could mend the seems, and bend the dreams
We could end the schemes, to blind extremes

    When polar emotions collide
    Soul stops transcending our mind
When heart proves to be corrupt, we could blame the invader

I decided to throw in the chords to let you guys experience the spacey dementia.
  2. E / Eaug and then a change to the typical G, B7, Em, C progression (just in another order)?!?!?! That's sick!! I'm craving to hear that now!!!

lol Where is the G, B7, Em, C from? I'm only asking because you said "regular." I'll be sure to shoot a demo, but right now I'm out of batteries for my cameras unfortunately.
  4. This is probably my most pop (not U2 Pop, but radio-friendly "pop") song so far.

    Now Is Our Time

    In your backwards heaven
    You’re falling to the ground
If I had a mind for power
You would be safe and sound

    If I could rearrange it
    The plot of imperfect events
    We would only progress
    But until then, it vents

Now is our time, to paint a perfect picture
Now is our time, to create a perfect future
Now is our time, to rid the world of wrong
Now is our time, to make it there, take it there

If we looked through the eyes
That have never seen us before
    What comments would we make?
How could we be so blind?

Now is our time, to paint a perfect picture
Now is our time, to create a perfect future
Now is our time, to rid the world of wrong
Now is our time, to make it there, take it there

Now is our time, to paint a perfect picture
Now is our time, to create a perfect future
Now is our time, to rid the world of wrong
Now is our time, to make it there, take it there

  5. C, Em, G, B7 (or G, B7, Em, C - the order doesn't matter) is a typical progression, just like C, G, Am, F or Em, C, Am, D. The fact that surprised me is that you switched from a E, Eaug verse chords to that one!! It must sound terrific
  6. Windows (Bridge to The Stars!)

Guys, come out through your windows,
he says he's found a bridge to the stars
so meet me in the meadows,
    well after bedtime hours.
get out from behind your covers,
before the time comes for lovers.
While we're small let's flee this world.

Open your windows, sneak out your doors.
he's found a bridge to the stars.

    A bridge to the stars.
    A bridge to the stars.
    A bridge to the stars.
    A bridge to the stars

    No fear of enclosing dragons.
No there's no fear to die,
now there's a great big hole in the sky
Our faces are so small and awestruck
We can't believe our luck as we take our first step on the way.
Though there may be no magic left here,
there's sure some where we're goin'.

    Take the first step on
    a bridge to the stars.

    A bridge to the stars
    A bridge to the stars
    A bridge to the stars
    A bridge to the stars

And the teardrops in the skies
    they fall into our eyes,
    free us from our pain!
We leave before the black dawn and the dirty rain.

Golden light on the field, there's so much here to feel
such blessed reverie, such glorious life
An end to future sorrow, a goodbye to strife.
Here in the night I make my way on…

    A bridge to the stars
    A bridge to the stars
    A bridge to the stars
    A bridge to the stars

Oh okay, I understand. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't ripping off a popular song or something lol

Wow, we we have a very (very very) similar writing style. Portraying your self as a hero, or something along those lines, and you lead the struggling society to a new place. If you look back in the topic to my other songs, you'll notice the "society is struggling, do something about it" topic in my songs. Not that I write all of my songs about the same topic, but they all hover around that.

Aside from my blabber, that was a good song. I especially like the part before the last chorus. Keep it up!

  9. Thanks Cal! Actually, while I was listening to Windows, I realized that my melody for this song, would actually work with your music. Freaky.

    Fall River eh?

    I'm moving back to Boston

    *Strokes beard stubble.

  11. Oh wow... when are you planing to move? My band is actually looking for a "real" singer. For now, I'm doing the vocals. It's okay, but we all agree that I'm a much better harmonizer.

Here is the highest quality demo that I've shot to date (unfortunately I cannot afford anything better than a regular digital camera )

This is not the entire band, it's just myself. And it's only one verse and one chorus, not the entire song.

In case you cannot hear what I'm singing, here is what I sang:

What if God was silenced? Why would we bother for guidance?
Where do I go for judgment, without a rightful providence?
Our hearts are quick for soundness, but what does hope provide us?

    You are my
    Fragile perfection
    You justify
    All of my transgressions
