1. where do you guys read this info? can't get it on u2place/italia

  2. a lot changes in near ten years. Big songs grow tired and lose their touch. Beautiful Day is now just a generic hit. And the fact they only used it as opener once says something.

U2 have opened rehearsals with Bloody Sunday before so who knows where Beautiful Day will come in.

  3. It's on u2italia's homepage. Picture and arrival info originally comes from facebook, rehearsed songs from U2place and by text message (phone)

Also considering that the one time it did open was for a group of University students who probably didn't know many of their songs besides Beautiful Day at the time.

I doubt that it will open, they probably had Soon play just... for whatever reason they felt it needed to be played for, then played Beautiful Day because they felt like it. I wouldn't think much of any of it.
  5. Quote from a fan seeing Bono in Italy this week: He's "barely not walking, always transferring by car (even 50 metres)."

    From atu2 twitter
  6. He didn't do that in Barcelona, and there were dozens (some nights even hundreds) of fans outside the Camp Nou - every night - for over a week. They only avoided them one night and that was because they were meeting with some politicians and artists that night and didn't want to be late.
  7. let's hope B's just being extra cautious, as he should be. No need to hurt himself again signing autographs.

    Recent atu2 tweet.

Yeh, so probably just being cautious.
