But that has nothing to do with the musical performance of it for me anyway.

I think some of the most powerful versions were on The Joshua Tree tour. I also think shows they used it to close with were good from a show pacing perspective. Some of the Vertigo versions of Bad were excellent (some were the standard).

Its definately a warhorse they should use in regular rotation if not every night. Unfortunately the band clearly does not feel that way currently.

I agree with virtually everything here. That East Rutherford version is good, but I myself actually prefer the 2006-12-04 Saitama version (I think it's like 6 or 7 min long). Doesn't matter much if it lasts 30 minutes or Bono dances with everyone in the audience if it's not that good of a performance.
  2. Except the ER performance is insane...
  3. The best U2 live song i guess, and almost every version of it is wonderfull. I like the Live-Aid version, the 2009 Amsterdam version, the Boston DVD version and also the Vertigo Chicago version
  4. I´m looking for a performance that was on Youtube (but is now taken down). At the beginning of the song Bono kinda falls on the stage (he was trying to jump or something hehe).
Anyway, it was in Dublin somewhere in the 80´s for a TV show benefit I think (they played outside)

At the part of the song where he always ´improvises´ he´s singing something like:

They were crawling out of the woodwork........

    and then he goes like:

    dudu dudu dudududu.....

Anybody know what i´m talking about
  5. I can upload a much higher quality DVD of the show if you fancy.
