    Yes, i think he forgot the right words and changed loose into win. But loose is a better option

  5. I think OneRepublic is equally good as Snow Patrol, fans were really going along with them and they had some nice tunes as well, of which most of the crowd seemed to be pretty familiar with. I liked it a lot

  8. EPIC is the right word to use in my case I was in the first row, right in front of Mr. The Edge, so I had a great view of him and Bono, we shared eye contact a few times. I came to the stadium at around 8:30a.m. and found a line with around 110 people already waiting. Then I found out there was another queue and I moved there because there was much less people (I got number 17). The weather was shitty until noon, then it stopped raining and got slightly warmer. All the time between coming to the stadium and getting inside passed quite quickly. The gates opened at 4:30p.m. and I was one of the first tens of people who got in. I stopped at the outer circle but then I saw my friends running past me so I joined them and we went to the pit. OneRepublic were rather enjoyable, well, I have seen worse to say at least. Liked them more than Snow Patrol last year in Zagreb. They did two covers and that got the people around the stage going, we started doing Mexican waves and stuff along the barrier.
    Then Space Oddity started and I, well, I went nuts. Loved the swagger of Bono's entrance. Half way through New Year's Day I had already trouble cathing my breath so I slowed down a little. I had The Edge 2 metres away from me when Magnificent was played and I can say he did not make a mistake- it was the guitar that did not work (:? ). I could see from his facial expression that it did not do what he wanted it to, he would not have looked like that had he made a mistake. It turned out that it was not the only guitar that was troublesome last night and I bet that Dallas did not sleep well after the show. Bono was on one of the bridges during City of Blinding Lights. I was looking at him and when I turned back there was no Edge! He completely stopped playing for a moment and went to get another guitar.
    Also, the bridge on Edge's side did not completely work, the guys controlling it were standing right in front of me and they were telling each other something along the meaning of "it can't move any further", so there was no meet-up above the pit during Until the End of the World. The bridge stopped moving at the right place, though, I had a great view of Bono singing Miss Sarajevo - breathtaking. I Still Haven't Found with 70 000 singing was just beautiful, and so was Every Breaking Way. Nobody around seemed to know it, but I was singing along. For a moment it looked like B-man was looking my way, so I smiled and gave him thumbs up, and he smiled back- now, I don't know for sure whether he was actually looking at me, but he might have been Crazy Remix was a great fun, I rocked out so hard to the Discotheque snippet While Bono was talking and then singing MLK, Edge played full Walk On to himself to make sure everything sounds alright. He was clearly pissed by his guitars not working properly.
    Desmond Tutu never fails to impress. To rock so much at his age, wow One was magical, obviously, with the whole house singing. The very highlight came after it - Amazing Grace was hypnotising. Bono was not even done singing it yet and my friend started shouting "FUCK YES!!!" so loud that everyone in the pit must have heard him lol. Boy, what a moment it is to have Edge start playing Streets right in front of you. Shivers? No time for that, the adrenaline made me jump really much. Streets was just absolutely epic, when you have no voice after it and feel a terrible pain in your back and legs, you know you did well.
    I guess the original plan was to play Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me, the setlist printed in some tabloid was pretty accurate, but I remember Dallas sticking 4 other setlists on the stage a few minutes before U2 started. Anyway, we saw what guitar he brought on stage and immediately knew what would be played. When the band were coming back, I was shouting "Ultra Violet! Ultra Violet!". The song was another epic moment for me, what a killer tune. The wheel mic did not work properly once again, so Bono used the one that is on his laser jacket. With or Without You was, ehm, well, like With or Without You You sing along, enjoy the oh oh oh oh part but you know it could and should be better. Loved Moment of Surrender, great closer.
    On the whole, I enjoyed this show much better than Zagreb 2 (I had seated tickets last year). I will not say which one was better because both have something special to them, but I was not disappointed by either of them. Vienna can be also remembered by a bunch of technical problems, but also mistakes by the band - UTEOTW, Larry was a bit late returning to his drum kit during Crazy Remix, Edge was late to start WOWY, but these are things that did not distract me from having a great time, actually I hardly noticed any of them, it was my friends who told me later. I really do not care much about the special effects of The Claw, but if I ever went to a 360 gig again (which I most likely will not), I would get a spot at the outside the catwalk to have a better view of the whole show, but most importantly, to have a much better sound. The huge speakers were right above my head and I did not receive anything from them, the sound I heard was coming from the speakers that are under the stage, so I basically had them right in front of me. Edge was a bit too loud, Larry and Adam a bit too silent, and, in the first place, Bono sounded ridiculously high-pitched at times, like some character from a cartoon or something. When OneRepublic were doing their set, I thought to myself that the singer's voice live is different from what I've heard on the radio- then Bono sounded rather weird too and I knew I was gonna have bad sound for most of the show. Anyway, there are kind tapers and bootlegs for us when small problems like this occur

    Organisation after the concert sucked- subway lines got closed too early and I had to walk to one train station to collect my backpack and then to another one to get on my train. But that left after 7a.m., I had lots of time left...believe me, you would not want to sleep outside during a night like this

    By the way, Boots live rock. Really hard.

  12. shit, setlist and pick.... We (I and Yuri) was shouting to Dallas, but he was a little bit fucked-up...
    Yes, there were some problems but ... It was AWESOME night for us ! Two meters away from Edge, unbelievable... The best concert in my life!
