  5. ok guys, just got back tonight...few things..

i started queing at gate x from 9 am, numbered 161. fences up etc. at 1.45 while the band were clearly sound checking City of Blinding Lights, some security removed one of the gates, causing a mash rush, 3 people were hurt and carried away by the crush.

Security failed to step in and watched the mess

As the gates began to open, the crush began again, and i hate to say it but i was crushed against a half open gate, 2 people next to me collapsed, and i couldnt breathe, again security failed to step in.

all through the great concert i struggled to breathe, got dizzy and felt sick.

i LIMPED back to the hotel after the concert, failed to sleep as to be honest i was traumatised by what i saw at the gates, i had images of the HILLSBROUGH disaster ringing through my head.

as i type this i still have severe pains in my ribs, which im going to get checked at the hospitol tomorrow.

i enjoyed the concert, but i must say im tempted to take legal action against the stade de france for the poor organisation and the damage caused.

im just hoping i can get some sleep tonight cos i havent been able to sleep yet since the concert.

hope no one else on here had that experiance

Same for me, it was horrible. Lots of people got hurt, and it was a big mess. And the worst part is that this is not the first time, I've heard it's the same for many years, so I would never ever recommend anyone to go to this stadium. Queuing is totally useless, and very dangerous. Horrible.

We started queuing at 11 for gate A, but when we finally got in (after lots of crushing, and shouting from security) the stadium was already half full. So other entrances were opened way before ours, very unfair, especially for the people who spend the night at our gate, who also got into the stadium when the pit was already full, what a disaster.

    #Stadefail.

totally agree, never ever doing a european gig again, how come we dont have these problems at UK venues? no one runs, no one pushes, yet soon as you go abroad, its every man for himself.

also when we got in the pit was full and there was already 4 rows of people around the center circle!

what got me the most is i could see a young kid crying his eyes out, he was one of those getting crushed near me with his mother and father, like i said i cant sleep cos its all i see in my head

So sorry to hear you were hurt in that crush. I was at the same gate, how I escaped injury I will never know, the madness was unbelievable. It made me think of Hillsborough too. Never going there again, that's for sure... how are they allowed to run public events with such a complete lack of security?
