1. Seats first show, was late in the queue on the second night, but that was civil queue imho. Didnt get pushed at all.
  2. On a positive note: the public transport in Paris is excellent! Much better than the NS in Holland.
  3. Just back from Paris now . Was sad to hear about all the hassle people had in the GA que .Hope it doesnt reflect too badly on the band . I have to say I thought the show was magic . It was my first seated show of the tour and I really enjoyed it . The French fans around me were great fun . They were top class . The only tiny tiny complaint I have was the set list . I thought they would have shaken it up a bit more but I was grateful for IWF , Mercy and a great version of North Star . Great gig . Better than Torino .

  4. Paris shows are usually horrible, chaotic and badly organised with a lot of brutality and rude people. That's why I don't want to go there. I've heard the most horrible stories from people who visited concerts there. Stade de France especially has a very bad reputation as a concert venue. Sad to hear it lived up to that reputation once again. A shame for fans who just wanted to enjoy a great concert.

  5. Yep, no plans to circulate it, though. But there'll be some excellent stuff from Luca soon.

Love the horror stories about bad Paris.

Haha, yeah, right. How come I'm still alive after seeing dozens of shows in Paris ? Yeah, it's usually a mess at the stade de france, and with 80 000 people there's bound to be morons who take advantage of it. But it's not the rule. French audiences are not barbarians getting together to hurt poor tourists. The worst audience I've ever seen was in London, and it got really dangerous. Doesn't mean I'm going around telling everyone that the brits are all a bunch of stupid drunks and that I will never go there again. I know better.

I can't believe I have to say all that.
  7. True, hasnt to do anything with the French. Just the lack of organisation of the venue.
  8. iv got no quarrals with the french really, its just if the stade de france organised and ran the thing properly it wouldnt of happened, people wouldnt of got hurt and it wouldnt have such a bad reputation!

the french fans around me were a great laugh, i spoke to many in the que and even they were disgusted with the organisation

  9. 96000 you mean ... which is quite a lot more.

(on a side note security was a bitch that night because France is under terrorist threats since the day before the gig, so better safe than sorry. i manages to get all my gear in anyway, audience, iem & hd-cam)
  10. ha security wasnt tight on our gate, they just forced everyone through and no one even looked in my bag or felt my pockets or anything, they looked like they wanted it through as quickly as possible :/
  11. We arrived at 2.00 at the stadium gate Y there where only maibe 200 people waiting to get in
There where people who where before the gates who where there very early that get out of the queue because of breathing problems ....Everytime when one of the security guys
transmit to the other security people ( To put in there earplugs )....the line goes forward so the people went crushed ...to the gates ..when the gates get open we realised there where
crowd barriers who I thougt where in a strange possision ( never seen this before during a concert) you have to move arround it to get to the gates oke ...BUT one line also leeds to a dead end ...so people start to climb over the crowd barriers ....we where going around but realised that there was another crowd barrier so everybody starts to climb and was pushing each other
Hello . ...me an my buddie stephan helped a child and his mother to get over it because they
where pushed against the crowd barrier .....but the crowd keep on climbing over the barrier ..
but the security where letting about 30 people in everytime ...before anothere group went in ....
suddenly i put al my stuf back in my pockets to loose nothing and pushed my arms in the sky
to get my way to the gates ..as i have a smale stature ( 1 meter 63 cm) i was dragged by the crowd ...and went inside true the gates... when i was inside i had to wait for my buddy stephan before he was in i think i was maibe 30 minutes later before we get inside so no place for us at
the outside ring .....but one thing the concert made me forget this but now i am thinking about it i realised what happend to us ...
  12. official, stade de france couldnt organise a piss up in abrewery!
