  3. Way out there with this one. Could anyone imagine a show starting with "Theme from Let's Go Native" from Passengers? Been playing around with this in my head for a bit now and listening to it right now, I think it's possible. By starting I mean where Stingray is now. My god, I'd love it.

    Also thought the same about "Speed of Life".

    As I said, way out on the edge but I think feasible.

    I'm tired of thinking of possible setlist changes. I'm more into the "Give the crowd what they want, and let them enjoy!" phase right now - specially in countries that get less (or first) visits by the band like Russia, Greece or Turkey. I wouldn't stand 3 identical setlists in a 3-night-residency at Croke Park, but I don't demand constant set changes between "normal" concerts, either.


    I agree. They should give the crowd what they want...so they shouldn't play "In A Little While" (play "Stay" instead), "Crazy" (play Discotheque instead), "Boots" (play Zoo TV-style Desire instead), and "Magnificent" (play EBTTRT instead). I could go on...


  5. Thats a great clip of Drowning Man.The strings sound great.Why didnt they try it? Seems strange to even go with Your Blue Room instead of DM.Im happy the band have actually mixed things up a bit here.I would love it,if the band would open a show with HMTM.They start with what time is it in the world..over and over.then the strings....then SHOWTIME...bang the show STARTS.That would be a great start.Im glad IWF is back,albiet brief.2009 was th ONLY tour that is wasnt played,so it sadly missed a tour. Pride,NYD IWF,they are great songs,much better than Elevation,IALW and Boots.Since this isnt a promotion tour,how about Boots is laid to rest.U2 have so many classics,they could drop MW,and play the Fly for a night.I also dont understand why WOWY has to be played EVERY night.Yes,its a great song,no question.But,It wasnt a staple of the Vertigo tour at all.Out of the 4 shows I attended,WOWY was played once.How about playing Bad,ASOH or a tune from R&H,maybe Desire or AIWIY.I was hoping the band would play Fez and Stand Up this time round.Cedars is a good tune as well.Maybe MOS could replace IALW,and Cedars could end this show instead.It wont happen,but I think it would be a nice change.ONE,IMO is really the bands best song,and a tune they should (and do) play every night.That HAS to be played.I never get sick of it.Also,Zooropa and PoP are popular in Europe.Why wouldnt they play some songs from those records on this European tour ?????
  6. Other than snippets from Mofo and Discotheque (which just doesn't work for me) we still haven't seen anything from Pop on this tour (HMTMKMKM does not count folks).

    So I'm going to start off the whole 'I want The Fly back' (and for an opener) argument.

    Im supporting you in that, I want the Fly back too. Dont mind if its the opener but just bring it back.
    But I think we will get some changes in about a month and 10 days in Australia

  12. With or Without You was great this leg, the best versions for years. I hope they won't drop it now.
