Cheers. It would be short notice but I could still nab tickets for the O2 but I definitely wouldn't bother if the setlists remain dominated with the last 2 albums.

That O2 show on DVD they put out had a great setlist with plenty of older tunes...dunno why they dropped em. Red Morning Light, Milk, etc.

And I'm curious why they aren't playing Arizona...they haven't for YEARS...that's one of their better songs IMO.

I enjoyed the setlists from last tour because up to then they only had the 1 album I disliked. Now I don't like 2 albums and it's those 2 albums that they are basically making the setlists from.
  3. 2009-11-29: Antwerp, Belgium

    Mary
    Crawl
    Molly's Chambers
    Radioactive
    Fans
    Revelry
    The Immortals
    The Bucket
    The End
    Four Kicks
    No Money
    Notion
    Pyro
    On Call
    Back Down South
    Manhattan
    Knocked Up
    Use Somebody
    -
    Closer
    Sex on Fire
    Black Thumbnail

Honestly Ger, I understand the dislike towards not enough older material...but at the same time, exactly 1/3 of the show is pre-OBTN, and they're supporting Come Around Sundown...so for them to be playing another third of the show off of that album isn't really out of the question. The fact that with that being said, an entire 1/3 of the show is dedicated to one album thats not the one they're supporting is a little absurd.

    7 songs pre-OBTN
    7 songs OBTN
    7 songs Come Around Sundown
  4. Notion amd Manhattan should be one or the other. A waste of a slot playing both.

  5. Manhattan or Revelry, maybe. Similar songs. I like Notion.
  6. And seriously stop closing with Black Thumbnail. You tried it, it works, nut up.
  7. I like this encore!

  8. I'd like it if it was a little more varying. Keep SOF, but move Closer back into the main set, throw a stunner from Aha Shake Heartbreak down there- like Taper Jean Girl. That needs a change from being in the opening three songs (and recently not in the set at ALL). And stop closing with Black Thumbnail- they've been doing that for years and years. Ideal-

    Encore:
    Taper Jean Girl
    Sex on Fire
    Arizona

    Yeah, Arizona would fit perfectly!

Also love Taper Jean Girl, but I'd rather to see it at the main set.

  10. my two favourite OBTN songs, i wish they'd just play those two and be done with it. unfortunately that'd mean missing out 2 monster hits; it isn't going to happen.
  11. Played today in Madrid, here were the set changes:

-Crawl opens the show, Mary is inserted before The Immortals
-Four Kicks and No Money trade spots

Nothing new added. Crawl is an excellent show opener though, from personal experience. They really pull that off well.
  12. No set changes since the last one posted (meaning the changes I listed)...they've stuck with it three nights in a row.
