  1. Hello all, this is PEN GUY, or Mr Numbers!!

If u were in the 1st 600, then it was nice to meet u!

It was a unbelievable night, U2 put on an awesome show, Bad was a great surprise and I enjoyed every minute of it.
As far as the day is concerned, I arrived very early in the morning and by 7am I along with a few others were forced to do securitys job and organise the line. Livenation did not organise for security to arrive early enuff so we were forced to do their job. This was both stressful and intense as there was alot to deal with, but I would say 99% of u were great and were a joy to be around. Unfortunately u do get a few ppl who think they r special and can jump the que, or then there's the fool who flatly refuses to take a number and ends up lining up with ppl who got their days before him, Just flat out rude and no respect for the others, u mate r an absolute wanker!

As for the the others. I met the best U2 fans I've ever met, u were all so awesome and I will never forget the day we had. Big thanks go to:
Sandro. Tim (my partner in crime). Paul (the enforcer). Michael. Ruben (special thanks for you). Dave. Frank. Yaan and the number 1 in line Shannon.
    U guys rock!
And any1 else I met during the day and who is on here thank u.

I will put sum awesome photos and videos up as soon as I can.

    Much love and peace.
    Dom.
  2. Hi, Dom!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was the one who assigned and wrote the numbers 201-800+ on the first show of the tour, in Barcelona, and I can swear it was/is an unbelievable experience, I met a thousand of great fans and will never forget it Save those phones and emails that you surely should have obtained today carefully... They'll bring you great memories one day!! Forget about those wankers, period. Glad you all had such great show
  3. Initially I was excited when Jay-Z was going to rap on Sunday Bloody Sunday, but it didn't amount to his performance at Berlin like I thought it would. =/

Nevertheless, the setlist was great tonight with Mercy coming back and Bad. I was actually hoping that they would bring out Kite, but one can only dream.
  4. Did anyone record the TripleM broadcast? Can only find the one bootleg on U2torrents - not a fan of audience recordings.
  5. Awesome you guys all had an amazing time! So jealous you got to see the performance of Mercy. Hope you're still buzzing looks like you guys had some fantastic spots. Awesome pictures!
  6. Don't think they did broadcast. I was listening at 9 and they played a load of Rose Bowl tracks
  7. Not looking forward to Jay Z , hope they play Scarlet again Friday.

  8. Just saw a snippet of I Will Follow on the news here. Awesome!!!

Alright, so I got there at about 1pm or so and waited in the queue. At about 5pm or so we started being allowed to get in and we powerwalked - because NO RUNNING was shouted three or four times in a row; you can't blame security for that because it was wet as all hell. We got soaked in the line by the way.

The claw really is a thing of awe. I've never seen anything so big in my entire life relating to a musical or live performance area. Jay-Z; I can't remember what time he came on but he was on for about an hour and had the crowd going. I just sat down in the inner circle bored out of my mind. Then the clock starts up and after that it blows apart on the screen. You then hear Space Oddity and then a whole load of smoke starts up and Stingray (incredible intro) begins. The four guys then come out on the stage and get prepared. Bono comes round first followed by Edge, he walks like two meters away from us - I think it's the closest I've ever seen him or any of them up close - and then it's straight into Beautiful Day.

BD gets a hell of a reception. I'll write more a bit later but this is what I can remember at this point.

  9. I still can't believe they played this and I apologise for missing the start how shaky it gets!
  10. Hi guys

Didn't expected a live appearance of Bad. I think they surprides almost everybody here. Great thing!

Also great to know our aussie mates had a great time! I'm happy for you, guys!

Finally, great pics and great videos!

    Greetings from Brazil
  11. So glad the rain stayed away for the entire time inside Etihad last night [we were blessed], because today the storms are crazy, looks like there might be some flash flooding around Melbourne, thunder, lightening, all the good stuff.

I just went for a two-hour walk around the CBD area - at least I think it's the CBD, and it was spitting and thundering.
