  1. I was a bit over reacting I know. But I really think these four songs just arent really great.
    I think almost nobody here like Stuck, Pride is good but I only want it as a switch for SBS every once and a while, then IALW I really can't stand this song I just absolutley dont like it. And Miss Sarajevo is great when they keep it for special things like when playing in Sarajevo or in Italy but now its a regular and that makes it not very intresting imo.

    I also feel like im a bit in a period where I dont really like U2 nowadays. I still enjoy the earlier work, but I just dont listen to a lot of 360 songs.
    I see they played Bad yesterday and it is my favourite song but I dont get happy or something like that, because they played it, maybe im just a bit tired of 360
    And I expected some more changes for the Australian gigs, but the only change they made was One Tree Hill for 2 shows (What was great because OTH is good), and played Scarlet instead of MLK. And to be honest Scarlet is ok but it is the same as MLK imo.

    But I still love U2

  3. Yeah not the best setlist to date IMO! They didn't even get any of those little aces in the hole that come after Still Haven't Found (Mercy, North Star, EBW, Glastronbury, Boy Falls From The Sky). Shame. I hope they bring back North Star (speaking of), and a full band thing would be fantastic too.

    It worries me that they would just drop them, unless they really are putting them on some sort of an album, and as 360 continues they begin supporting that instead of NLOTH anymore (Thought it's really already not "supporting" the album when ATYCLB gets more attention...)

    I just don't really see them coming back anytime soon, unfortunately. Maybe North Star.

    Mercy will still be around, they're not afraid to play that one.

Just realized, as I listen to a Vertigo boot done in this fashion...if they subbed out the acoustic Stuck, and replaced it with acoustic "Walk On", then they'd still be playing Walk On, still have an acoustic song, and have an open slot for something rockier later. The show needs more rock n' roll.

    And I really really enjoy Walk On acoustic on the Vertigo Tour, when they did it right.

    I really thought they would play Boy Falls From the Sky (well the leg is not over at all, we'll see). And I guess that they are working on these songs again, in order to put them on the next record that might be out for the American leg(s).

    Indeed, the tour needs more Rock and Roll. Imo there are only 3 rock songs in the setlist; UTTEOTW, IWF and HMTMKMKM. They really need to play more rock songs, maybe NLOTH should come back in his full form, Gone, Zoo Station, The Fly or EBTTRT

    The other two don't bother me. If I'm there then great, I'll enjoy them. If I'm not, I'll just skip it on the bootleg if it's not exceptional.

    Well, in all fairness, Vertigo and Boots are rockier songs as well (Elevation isn't too bad, either)...but even still, there's no punch to this show. It's not a BAD set...just no punch. Consider a good Vertigo set-

    Vertigo
    Elevation
    Electric Co.
    Love and Peace
    Bullet
    Zoo Station
    The Fly
    All Because of You

    Those are all commanding songs! 360 is way looser...

    Magnificent
    I Still Haven't Found
    Angel of Harlem/Desire
    Stuck/Pride
    In a Little While
    Miss Sarajevo
    City of Blinding Lights
    MLK/Scarlet
    Walk On
    With or Without You
    Moment of Surrender

    Like, they aren't all bad songs at all...but you've got to balance that out. Shows generally start with a band, knock your socks off...then ease into some easier material, perhaps deeper cuts, tracks that weren't singles, etc...before pulling out some more great hits and closing with another huge bang. This show opens with a bang that lasts just over 2 minutes, and plays greatest hits among a deep cut or two for an hour and a half. Then they bring out a couple greats towards the end. There's got to be more of a rollercoaster effect.

    All those are great songs, but to have them all in a row is a bit much.

    They need to play those songs, especially Gone and Even Better Than The Real Thing, badly!
