  1. back home in sunny adelaide, ill put my best pics and sum vids up shortly. 2nd nite i was 2 people back from the outer circle couldnt beleive it since i didnt start lining up till about 3.30pm. setlist of the 2nd show was suprising lots of older stuff, felt like a 'best of' show, but it was still great, a new song woulda been nice though
  2. It's a real adjustment, coming from rain pissing down in Melbourne to sun in Adelaide. Good show Andrew?
  3. Anyone know at what time people started lining up to get into the pit?

I want to know for Sydney.

  4. If you want front row or front of the outer circle of the pit, you'd have to line up from 5am or beforehand, but if you wearn;t fussed, you may get away with 12, something like that.

We lined up at 11am, and got to where we wanted, right on the outside circle, anytime after that you'd be back a few people, and when we got our spots there seemed like alot of room in the pit if we wanted to move inside, and in the middle of it all.

  5. Well me and my friend got in the queue just as it was starting to rain, which I believe was about 3 pm. We thought our inner circle hopes were long gone, but we easily were able to get in to the inner circle second row in front of the stage on Adam's side, plenty of space. We even had time to go get a drink, have a toilet stop and stand pondering whether we should switch to Edge's side, which we ended up doing and still were very close!

It felt 'too easy', like there was some sort of catch to it, how can I be this close after lining up for such a small time. But as many have told me, and as I could confirm Friday night when I sat down, it seems most people don't understand that the inner circle is regular GA, making it fill very slowly and making it very easy to get into!

Thanks - that's better than I was expecting (was planning to get there at 9), but if you can get in the pit if you arrive at 12 or even 3 that's pretty amazing. - I think there might be more competition for the Sydney shows though - 90,000 people are expected vs 55? for Melbourne.

How do you grab a place in the pit? Like if you get in do you have to stay there forever or can you go out and go to the toilet etc and get back in later?

  7. yeh 2nd show was great too, being so close to the guys is sumthing i wont forget in a hurry
  8. any good bootlegs of the shows?

  9. We were where Bono first walked to - seeing that little short dude walking up to you and just jumping around like a nut and on the bridge right above you is surreal.

Bootlegs - check the active topics list, there's one somewhere in there by Blackout, or go to the usual shows page.

They have gates with security on them...you just go through, then if you want to go back out for something, they will give you a stamp (at least for melb) and you just have to show that when you come back in
  11. Not only in Melbourne, if you wanna go out they put a stamp in your hand in every show but then you will have to (sometimes literally) fight your way back to the pit, and that´s not always easy...
  12. how do i upload pics from my pc's HDD
