1. Was this not confirmed as an April Fool's joke back in April of this year ???
    or

......is this a new story ?? And if so,will it be "The Reconstructed Joshua Tree" as first proposed for original release back in March of 1987,with the tracks we now know as B-Sides eg.Spanish Eyes,The Sweetest Thing etc.... ?

Either way,one to keep an eye out for.......

Not "The Reconstructed Joshua Tree". It has an official title...

"The Tree That Was There But Joshua And His Tree Approached Us And Told Us It Needed Remastering Even Though We Released It In 1987 So We Just Decided To Go Ahead With It And Make Bullet The Blue Sky Even Better Than The Real Thing And Edge Has Been Using GarageBand Lately On His New Apple Macintosh And Found A Way To Edit Out Voices And Just Have His Backing Vocal As He Didn't Like Bono's Effort So Hopefully If We Charge Another $29 For This Album With A Few Crappy B Sides Some Idiot Will Buy It Without Realising There Are Better Joshua Tree DVDs Than Paris. Adam Did A Great Job On Bass But Unfortunately Larry DIdn't Like The Album Going Over Twenty Three Minutes So He Told Us To Cut It Back, No Thanks To Him For Telling Us This Fact Twenty Years Later".

I think that's a great title. But you'll need a vinyl to put it on, and even then there's a chance it won't quite fit.
  3. YES! Can't wait for this. I will definitely be purchasing. A new DVD!

I just wouldn't buy him because I want to put my money to practical use.

His first job was to film a Bob Dylan concert...but he found this easy because Bob doesn't move. The ocassion when he does move, Hamish uses 22 camera angles to show the shot, over four nights. He also filmed 10 songs out of 20 and if someone took a photo he'd do a cheesy fade-away shot.

Also he was outside and missed the first fifteen minutes, blaming it on a power cut. Even his own home movies that he makes he tries to flog off to MTV and says it's the greatest movie you've ever seen. Robbie Williams said he'll get someone from Disney to do an equally good job.

OK, maybe I'm a little too harsh but I'll give him credit for Slane 2001 and an awesome job on Electric Co. for Chicago as well. But stop freakin' mixing nights together. Make it one DVD or don't bother.
  5. I'd prefer the L.A. show to Parris.

the LA bootleg DVD is of far superior quality to the Paris show though. I'd rather see the Paris show in much better quality. There was a fantastic audience at the Paris show too. Completley outclasses the LA crowd

I'm sure the crowd was much much than it appears on the DVD (no crowd shots, no croud noise). Thats just the way it was recorded.
  11. I'm so excited for this release if it's true, just looked at the setlist of the Paris show(s), some great songs. Where The Streets Have No Name is missing though.

Are you saying that it would not be included in the DVD???
