  3. I've seen a couple of people saying Ultraviolet or HMTMKMKM. No. They won't play either of them at all. Bono won't have a mic to swing around on, and it just probably won't go with Glastonbury too.

    Also they have played batman and UV often enough without hanging mic in the past

    i dont necessarily agree with you but if he wasn't willing to sing a song cos he doesn't have a special custom made mic to swing on then they shouldn't be doing glastonbury!

    they're gona need to step out of their comfort zone for once big time!

    It just wouldn't be the same. I think it will be a set similar to whatever they are playing at that point in North America with a few substitutions, of course.
  7. i doubt there will be any substitutions whatsoever. They will play the same set the two shows before Glasto and we will get the same one there.

  8. Over the course of this tour, they have played the majority of their biggest hits - most of which are still in the setlists. So, yes indeed, there probably won't be too many changes from the usual "drill" aside from maybe the removal of a few of the lesser known tracks...and please, no more "Crazy Tonight" it really is a "turkey."

    plus for sure Pride .. Mysterious ways .. I will follow .. North star/Mercy or Kite (if it will come out in the next legs) .. In a little while/Stuck in a moment and ... Fez-Being born .. bad i hope.
    in short no big surprise at all and the Baltimore setlist will be also in Glastonbury.



  11. I'd give my left arm to hear the guys play Plug in Baby, Edge would have to do the falsetto part though. If only i cud go back in time to 93, Bono would be able to sing any Muse song

    I don't think they'll clean the dust of any pre-87 stuff that they hadn't played in a long time (well, maybe The Electric Co?), but some pre-87 love wouldn't be half bad either. The good ol' October-New Year's Day combo would be a killer, and Bad is a must-play. Apart from that, I really don't care about the song choices, as long as the running order and the performance is worth the ocassion!!

    PS. And please do NOT start with Beautiful Day


    I mostly agree here. A few days ago I was trying to figure out what would fit. On one hand, I can't see them changing from their 360 Tour set too much. On the other, this is a special event and they will be playing to a different crowd than usual, I suppose. This is not a 360 Tour concert. I think their set should be as energetic as possible. Songs like In A Little While should most definitely take a rest, in my opinion. But like you Sergio, also I feel that songs from Pop are really those which should make an appearance. And I also thought the same about Wild Horses and The Fly. Both would probably fit very nicely. Plus Even Better TTRT.
    How about opening with Glastonbury? Could it warm up the crowd early on? I don't like the song too much, but it is energetic from start to finish and it speaks directly to the crowd being present.

    Also, how long is their set supposed to be? Full concert (~ 2 hours) or less?
