    Really they never show U2 on this channel and then all of a sudden they play a top 10 and then you get this top 10 I mean, really??

    OK, I now know how U2 choose their setlists. And it is most likely the reason why Bono says it is much easier to be successful than it is to be relevant. From that list, I can see one song that helps them staying relevant, and even that one should be performed in concert without the bloody speech.
  8. It was a on a music channel called TMF, normally they only play populair music but this time there was a U2 top 10 and I really was suprised by the list

  11. I absolutely love how, on the first two legs of 360, The Unforgettable Fire/City of Blinding Lights completely turns the tables of the mood of the show.

    The Unforgettable Fire trickles away, a body and soul lying on a bed, and as the song melts away, the head hits the pillow.

    And instantly, as the piano of COBL hits, the eyes open wide, and the soul gets up and exalts on top of the show, cigar spike shining and the cylindrical screen swirling with color. U2 turn a desperate (though somehow soothing) drift into a song that literally sounds like a fire, into a sunshine-filled wakeup, perking back up and crescendoing that wave up through the piano intro of COBL, until we're back on top of the wave and ready to rock n' roll (for Vertigo and Crazy)

    I really, really miss the first two legs. I'm a big advocate for the previous few legs/shows, because of the variety and just the magnitude of the change since 2009...but if you asked me which show I'd want to be magically dropped into to witness, it'd have been a first legger for sure.
