Bought the album today. On a first listen, in terms of diversitiy it's their biggest effort since New Adventures. It's clearly R.E.M. though. You hear ideas of Rockville, Crush with Eyeliner, Cuyahoga, Drive or Country Feedback all through the album.

Let's see how it evolves...

shame they don't go on tour.
