1. Great review, Kirsten I made mine too, but it's in spanish.... I'm not in the mood to translate a 15 pages text into english now

Regarding abroad trips... I made 1200 kms by bus just to see that concert, slept on the street, queued for 32 hours and...... I feel like it was worth it. My parents don't.
But I think it was worth it, because the show was extremely raw and funny, and I was 3 meters away from The Edge and Bono and could feel all their nerves and excitation and hesitations and doubts and adrenaline and joy... and that is something I'll never forget. Edge's face when he fucked up the Unknown Caller solo (biggest mistake of the show aside One), Bono's smile when we shouted for Ultraviolet, Ultraviolet, Ultraviolet even before the song started... everything was so funny that I would do it again. I only paid my tickets plus the bus passages and the few euros we spent there, so it wasn't that expensive for me. I loved it. Moreover, being able to meet people as Remy, Gerard, Matt (U2gigs), Cathal and some others made it even better.

But I'll only travel actually abroad to Dublin I think.

  2. Still one of the best shows of the tour :. O+
  3. Fuck hell yesssss........ UOUOUOUOUOOOO (silence) I'M A TRAFFIC COP!!!!!!

  4. I can see my own hand there in front of Adam brilliant night, and certainly one of the best songs they played during the tour so far
  5. @Gerard crowd is amazing indeed! Although it also depends a lot on the recording.

  8. The crowd are great on all recordings from this night. Those ow oh ow oh ow oh oohs just get me every time.
  9. I just looked at the setlist and there's soo many "slow songs" o.O. I Still haven't all the way through to COBL? Did you guys notice this at the show or not? Lol I would have loved to have seen those first 4 new songs live for the first time. And UV. but man the setlist sure has improved since then imo of course

At the time I saw them, my "middle" songs (between Still and COBL) were Unknown Caller, Stay, UTEOTW (Which was rare, coming out of the first leg), and your Blue Room...so, not really. UC was my favorite song off the new album at the time, UTEOTW is my all time favorite live song, Stay was legendary, so the only real "slow" part of the show was that 5 minutes that YBR took up.

So, no. I can see where you're coming from now though. There were no multi-song lulls on the Vertigo Tour.

Oh lucky you're referring to Chicago 2 huh? that's a great show. YBR, Until the End, UC, and Stay are great songs. Im still offended that in a little while is alive and kicking >.< but yeah I love this show (Barcelona) but was just taken about right now that there's no Until the End, Mysterious Ways and Elevation o.O. those are almost necessary to keep the tempo up imo
