1. I registered on that SportGuru as well, Hans, great idea

  2. yeah its a great site, used to use it alot for world cups and stuff. I've approved you, though i seem to be greatly out numbered by Ferrari fans

Yep. Even Hamilton and Button themselves have admitted that the car won't win any races at the start of the season. It's too slow. I think it will even be slower than Mercedes and Renault. Maybe the 5th fastest car, could end up worse than that. Toro Rosso and Sauber have even been particularly quicker than expected in testing. But as you said, they will improve throughout the season. Major upgrades will come around Silverstone time which will surely provide some wins.
  4. But when this comes into the headlines of F1, it seems overly unrealistic. That's McLaren being optimistic and rather cocky. They always try to get people to think that they are actually doing things right, but they are actually not.

EDIT: Anyone think Schumacher can score a win this year?
  5. I support whatever team Valentino Rossi likes
  6. I think Schumi could win, but the better bet is on Rosberg

Thats just Martin Whitmarsh for you, his team can do no wrong while the other teams must clearly be cheating.

I think Schumacher has a better chance than last year after getting used to 3 years worth for F1 changes, but i agree that Rosberg will be faster. Last year he consistantly out-qualified Schumacher and i think he will be quicker again.
  8. Ok picks are open! problem with Heidfeld in that it says he is still racing with Sauber, but theres no points for constructors anyway so i guess you could pick him with the asumption he is drive a Renault

Edit: Extra 2 points for picks before Qualifying. I'll probably do mine after Pratice two.
  9. good tactic even if practice can be misleading sometimes
  10. My choices

  11. nice choice, i have a gut feeling Torro Rosso might do well this season, though i'm not sure who could drop out of the top 10 because of that.
  12. Right, made my picks Can't say getting up at 5:30 to watch Pratice 2 changed much but it wa nice to get back into the F1 groove again
