1. Don't apologize, Kirsten. It's perfectly understandable!! And not only that: it has happened to most of us (and more than once, I'd dare to say). There's nothing wrong or shameful about it. You listen to U2 a lot more than most of us do, so your burn-out time was just about to come. I knew it (I really did ). But there is nothing you can do, except listening to A LOT of other music. Then, when a U2 track comes in while your player is shuffleing through your collection, it's like a rush of adrenalyne. It rocks. Believe me, there is nothing wrong with it. Just take a U2 break, stop listening to them every time, and you'll see how, after a few days/weeks, the goosebumps are there again.

PS: it doens't work with all tracks. If my player comes up with Bass Trap or Grace, I damn it and everything
  2. Grace, I simply love that song One of the lyrics that has really grown on me Lately I've realized it's almost like it was written about a person that I'm incredibly lucky to have as a very close friend Sending some love vibes to her (friend love only for anyone who's gonna start 'that' conversation)

Bass trap sure is a staple on my "Sleep" playlist.
  3. Every song has its moment, even Grace, Stuck In A Moment, Elvis Presley and America, One Step Closer or Is That All............
  4. Well, if I could only bring one song from the studio album ATYCLB it would probably be Grace

Oh, One Step Closer... how much I hate that song. Such a pointless song. Not too keen on Grace either.
  6. One step closer is also good for putting you to sleep
  7. Bass Trap is a great song for chilling to, I really like it Grace.. Meh

And the tour.... god I love this tour, best thing I've ever experienced in my life, and the setlist parties and everything around it.... but maybe there is one bootleg too many on my ipod or the computer...what show do you want to listen to, there are so many. Same for dvds, what was special first now is "just collecting" for me -- I know this sounds completely mad, as every U2 show is a precious thing, and the dvds and bootlegs are fantastic and I really value them without a doubt.... I just feel a bit disconnected these days. Too long of a tour, and no new album in sight at all, I think you nailed it right.

    sorry for the long babble

uhm after taking a look at last night gig ... what were you saying?
  9. that's all there really is to say. they did it once again
  10. The weird things I find when I'm digging through my files... I was looking for something else entirely when I found this mp3 of the answering machine message that U2 sang on (I think) Letterman. http://www.mediafire.com/?hg93v6oeju8hk1c

    Thought someone might like it.
