I think the point of a live performance of this song is to be speechless and amazed. It's not exactly Streets, is it!
  2. I really liked the Zooropa version, just look at the movie and the Claw. Isnt that just wonderful
Im curious what they will do tonight, I guess NYD and Bad will be played but dont know about Zooropa I just hope they will read the comments on youtube and sites like this one, the real U2 fans just love it when they play songs that arent very well-known.

Maybe they just leave us all in shock and play a whole new setlist.

How exactly? Last show - Bono's voice wasn't that good in Zooropa, the crowd sounded dead during it... but it did have good effects. To be honest, I think that was an experiment only. If it's played tonight, I will be quite surprised.

So you would prefer to play In A LIttle While? Bono wasn't that bad during the second half.

  4. I think they would be more amazed with what they see and hear with Zooropa than with a song like Stuck In A Moment or In A Little While.

  5. I don't. Who wants to go to a concert to hear songs they don't know?
  6. And anyway, how is a crowd supposed to scream and shout or whatever to Zooropa? It's the wrong type of song for that. You can't even see the band when they perform it!

  7. Did you just completely twist my words? No, I was just saying Zooropa was quite disappointing, I never said I'd rather want In A Little While to be played. And I never said the "second half", I only said Zooropa.

  8. It doesn't matter whether you know the song. All that matters is that it's a good song and the band plays it well. I wasn't all that big of U2 fan in April 2008 when I saw U23D, and I thought The Fly was awesome and I had never heard that song before.

Because it might have been that most of the crowd didn't know it?

Okie doke. A concert is better for the 95% majority of casual fans that haven't got a clue what the band are playing. I take your point.

I know you never mentioned the second half, only I did. That's the part of the song I think they perform well. Anyway, I thought you would prefer them to play In A Little While because it sounds like you think that they can't play Zooropa but they can play In A LIttle While
